The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toure lands a glancing blow to the side of Petrov's head.
Petrov checks the leg kick nicely there.
Petrov appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Toure defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Petrov.
Toure with the counter takedown but Petrov avoids it easily.
Toure stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Toure wants it to stay on the feet.

Petrov is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Toure can't fight it off and eventually Petrov manages to take the fight to the floor. Toure looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Toure has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Petrov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Let's hope that Toure has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Petrov would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Petrov works to advance to full mount. Toure defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Petrov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Toure but Toure pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Petrov drops down looking for an ankle pick but Toure pulls his leg out and moves away.

Petrov throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Toure tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Petrov is in Toure's guard.

Igor Petrov overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Petrov seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Toure for as long as he can get away with.

I would just about give that final round to William Toure.
