Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Haris Mekovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Remo McCllum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Haris Mekovic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Remo McCllum!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Eddie Farnsworth and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCllum shoots in but Mekovic avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Mekovic wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
McCllum fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from McCllum is defended easily by Mekovic.
Haris Mekovic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Remo McCllum.
Mekovic comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Mekovic is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Mekovic connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mekovic feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends McCllum sprawling to the canvas! McCllum rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Mekovic finish him?!
McCllum is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mekovic cracks McCllum with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! McCllum falls to his knees and Mekovic doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Haris Mekovic!
