PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bad Idea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leo Yaj (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Idea kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Boss of All Bosses . Yaj has chosen Hey mr. DJ as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Idea shoots in looking for a takedown. Yaj tries to sprawl out of it but Idea keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Yaj manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Idea throws a sloppy head kick and Yaj moves out of range easily.
Idea moves out of range as Yaj strikes.
Idea throws a leg kick which misses Yaj's front leg but catches the back leg as Yaj tries to avoid it.
Yaj swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

and Yaj counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Idea thinking.
Yaj comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Idea is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Idea is working for a submission of some sort.
Idea throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The fighters are battling for position here. Yaj manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Idea looking to sit in guard and control but Yaj gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Idea wants to sweep here but Yaj controlling him for the moment.
Idea lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Idea closes the distance and clinches up with Yaj, looking for a takedown. Idea pushes Yaj against the cage but Yaj circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Oh Idea is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Idea lands with a hook. Yaj tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

and Yaj lands a stunning uppercut that sends Idea to the mat!

Idea throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Yaj escapes and throws Idea's legs to the side, diving into side control!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Idea will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Leo Yaj is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Idea shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Yaj as he avoids it easily.

Leo Yaj comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Yaj has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
