The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kabanov scores with a jab to the body.
Maximov looks to throw the jab but Kabanov is out of range.
It looked like Kabanov was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Maximov.
Maximov staying out of range there.
Kabanov gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Maximov.
Donk. Kabanov catches Maximov right on the button with a cross.
It looks like Gleb Maximov has been cut.
Maximov takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Maximov throws an overhand right that lands on Kabanov's shoulder, as Kabanov tries to avoid the shot.
Kabanov misses with a hook.
Kabanov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Maximov moves away.
Maximov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kabanov moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Maximov steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kabanov.
Maximov scores with a three punch combo!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kabanov cracks Maximov with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Maximov looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Kabanov finish him?
Kabanov throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Maximov throws a counter combo.
Maximov throws a body punch but Kabanov moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kabanov slips under a jab.
Kabanov lands a really nice looking cross but Maximov seems unphased.
Maximov is rocked!
Kabanov steps in with a hook that catches Maximov right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Kabanov follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Maximov looks absolutely devastated.
