The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Hackenberg darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
We've been told by Nworb's head coaches at Private GYM that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Nworb throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nworb misses with a wild body shot.

and Hackenberg connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hackenberg lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nworb circles away quickly and effectively.
Nworb punishes Hackenberg's body with a nice straight punch.
Hackenberg comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Hackenberg slips a jab and a cross from Nworb.
Hackenberg looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Nworb swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hackenberg counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A jab lands there for Hackenberg.

Nworb throws a head kick that misses.
Sirch Nworb seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hackenberg's jab looks to have found its range, popping Nworb under the eye.

Nworb is rocked!
Hackenberg has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Hackenberg! Nworb is backing up but he can't get away as Hackenberg lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Nworb and ends the fight. Great knockout.

Ray Hackenberg decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
