Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between El Misterioso Damballah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Campos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Damballah gets caught napping as Campos dives in and scores a takedown. Damballah manages to retain guard.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Campos working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Damballah wants to get back to his feet but Campos is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Damballah scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Damballah takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Campos slips a jab and a cross from Damballah.
Damballah throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Campos closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Damballah to the mat! Damballah manages to get full guard.

Damballah is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Campos is controlling him.

Campos tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Damballah paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Damballah went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Damballah connects with a crisp jab.
Campos ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Damballah moves away.
Damballah lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Campos circles away quickly and effectively.

Damballah misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A little jabbing left from Campos on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Damballah rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Campos moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Damballah appears to be looking for a big counter.
Campos doesn't manage to clinch there - Damballah circles away.
Damballah throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

A lazy left from Campos finds it's target.
An inside leg kick lands from Campos.
Damballah has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Campos.
Campos connects with a leg kick. Damballah looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Campos wants to clinch up but Damballah keeps it at a distance.

Damballah stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Campos throws up his legs and catches Damballah in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Damballah tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Campos! That came out of nowhere!
