Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matthew Kane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lee Terror!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kane closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Terror can't break the clinch.
Kane wants to break the clinch but can't.
Kane can't find room to land a body shot as Terror controls the action.
Terror tries to land knees in the clinch but Kane avoids the damage to the body.
Kane doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Kane tries to work over Terror's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Terror pulls guard effortlessly.
Terror wants to sweep here but Kane controlling him for the moment.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Terror has eaten all the pies!
Kane is looking to stand up but Terror won't let him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kane prevents Terror from getting back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kane being controlled here momentarily.

Kane gets to his feet - Terror follows without any prompting.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kane throws a head kick but Terror moves out of range.
Kane throws a low kick, looking for Terror's leg but Terror calmly moves out of range.
Kane misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Terror ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Terror stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Terror decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Kane is breathing heavily.
Terror passes to full mount!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Terror scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Kane?
Terror takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Terror punching from mount but Kane doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Terror sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Terror looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Kane is looking to improve his position but Terror isn't that keen on the idea.

Terror moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Kane has worked his arm free - good work by Kane!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Terror wants to stand but Kane has his arm trapped.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lee Terror dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Terror throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kane throws a body kick that misses.
Terror throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kane.
Terror tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A nice combination there by Kane.


It looks like Lee Terror has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Terror avoids a punch combination nicely.
Some wild striking there from Kane.
Kane tries to clinch up.
Kane tries to bum rush Terror with a series of wild strikes but Terror uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nice takedown defense from Kane. No joy for Terror on that attempt.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kane throws a right and a left that Terror avoids nicely.

Kane throws a shot from downtown. Terror moves away and avoids it.

Matthew Kane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Terror shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Terror was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Kane tries to hold on but Terror pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kane's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Terror counters with a three punch combo that has Kane backing up. Kane nods at Terror to acknowledge the strikes.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Terror tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kane just stands there and leans against the cage.
Terror wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Terror wants to get back to striking at distance but Kane won't allow it.
Terror is pressed up against the cage. Kane has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Terror down to the mat. Terror avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Kane tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Terror counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Terror is looking to pass Kane's guard but actually Kane recovers to full guard.
Kane throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Terror wants to stand and escape but instead Kane has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Terror looking to control.
Terror looking for a sweep. Not yet Terror, not yet.
Kane wants to stand but Terror has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lee Terror really dominated that round.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Terror misses with a takedown attempt - Kane sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Kane looks to clinch

and Terror counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Kane!
Terror won't let Kane get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Terror landing strikes from the mount and Kane is in trouble!
Kane is in a horrible position here. Terror smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Terror pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Kane squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Kane is squirming around, avoiding Terror's attempts to control the action.

It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over.

Terror lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Terror cracks Kane with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Kane in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Terror looking to control but Kane is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Terror lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Kane is in all sorts of trouble here.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Terror tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Kane sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Kane throws a one two combo.
Terror works over Kane's head and body with a nice combination.
Kane keeps the fight on the outside.

Terror closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Kane is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Terror tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Terror misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt.
Terror tries to stand but Kane controls the position and pulls Terror into his guard.

Kane manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Kane misses with a jab, cross combination.
Terror lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Kane fails with the takedown

and Terror decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kane's guard.
Terror throws a big right hand that misses.
Terror throwing strikes but missing.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Terror accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Terror pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kane is keeping the position for now.

Lee Terror has got the better of the ground game so far.
Terror loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Kane wants to sweep but no luck.
Terror trying to control the position from guard on top but Kane is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Terror takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Matthew Kane has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Terror dodges the punch combination from Kane.

Terror darts in and clinches Kane up against the cage.
Lee Terror is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Nice body punch from Kane - that landed with a thud.

Lee Terror comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Terror has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
