We've been informed that Gardner has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Pounder misses with a series of wild punches.
Nice uppercut lands for Gardner. That snapped Pounder's head back.
Gardner throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pounder.

and Gardner makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Gardner cracks Pounder with a right hand to the side of the head.
Gardner drops Pounder with a beautiful combination! Pounder stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Gardner is looking for the KO!

Gardner walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Pounder drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Gardner swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Pounder's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ralph Gardner tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
