The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pulogrando closes the distance and clinches up with Poe Jr, looking for a takedown. Pulogrando pushes Poe Jr against the ropes but Poe Jr circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Poe Jr gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Pulogrando misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Pulogrando has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Poe Jr avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Poe Jr lands a damaging elbow.
Poe Jr throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Pulogrando tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Poe Jr smiles and moves away.
Fernando Poe Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Austin Pulogrando.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Poe Jr circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Pulogrando drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Poe Jr follows Pulogrando to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
