Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Benjo Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franz Mueller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Benjo Cooper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Franz Mueller!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mueller is looking to clinch.
Mueller fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Mueller changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cooper tries to avoid it but Mueller manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cooper to the ground. Cooper escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Cooper.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mueller seems a little lost for a moment, as Cooper dominates the positioning.
Cooper prevents Mueller from escaping the position.

Cooper stands up and beckons Mueller to his feet.
Nice takedown defense from Cooper. No joy for Mueller on that attempt.
Benjo Cooper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Franz Mueller.
Mueller shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cooper but Cooper pushes him off and we're back to square one.

and Cooper counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Mueller looks gassed!

Cooper manages to break the clinch.

Cooper rushes Mueller and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Cooper breaks the clinch.
Cooper keeps the fight on the outside.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Cooper changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mueller looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Cooper lands an elbow.
Mueller on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Cooper is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Mueller will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Cooper has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cooper scores with a couple of short elbows.
Cooper looks up at the clock and then as Mueller takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Cooper smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Mueller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cooper. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Cooper has hold of Mueller's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Mueller seems comfortable defending it but Cooper has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Mueller is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Mueller is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Cooper couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Benjo Cooper!
