The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Arusha closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Link manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Arusha keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Link can't break the clinch.

Link pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and Link counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Link.

Arusha struggles to land a body shot inside as Link controls his hands.
Arusha prevents Link from breaking the clinch.
Arusha drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Link gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Estipo Arusha. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Link is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Arusha can't fight it off and eventually Link manages to take the fight to the floor. Arusha looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Well, if Link is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Link has hold of Arusha's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Arusha seems comfortable defending it but Link has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Arusha is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Arusha is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Link couldn't care less - he's delighted!
