Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Batista (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Risto Rautio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Batista might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I Walk Alone. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rautio keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Batista wants to clinch but Rautio slips to the side
and Rautio counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Rautio blocks a leg kick.
Rautio thows a body kick. Batista tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Rautio cracks Batista with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Rautio has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Batista to stand back up!
We've been hearing reports that Batista has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Rautio digs a good body shot into Batista's ribs.
Dave Batista seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rautio connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Rautio comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Rautio drops Batista with a naaaaasty hook - Batista is in real trouble here! Rautio dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
