Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ders Homles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Wase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyle Wase is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ders Homles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kyle Wase!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Alyssa Summers and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Homles misses with a hook.
Homles takes a swing at Wase's ribcage but misses.
Homles tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wase was well out of range. Poor timing from Homles.
Horrible takedown attempt by Wase or perhaps it was just good defense by Homles, which made it look bad.
Homles jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Homles throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Homles misses with a looping left.
Wase shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Homles sprawls well. Homles wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wase gets slowly back to his feet.
Wase tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Homles defends well and Wase ends up having to push Homles into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Ders Homles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kyle Wase.
Wase shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Homles defends it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Homles got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wase has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Homles has managed to get both his arms back between Wase's legs - danger averted.
