Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Bartlett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalle Kuling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kuling shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Bartlett kicks Kuling off and gets back to his feet.

Kuling closes the distance and clinches.
Bartlett tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kuling smiles and moves away.

Kuling wants the takedown. Bartlett is fighting it off but Kuling persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Bartlett's guard against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bartlett is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Kuling presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Bartlett is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Kuling gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aaron Bartlett. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bartlett jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kuling walks away with a smile on his face. Bartlett gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Bartlett doesn't manage to clinch there - Kuling circles away.

Kuling fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bartlett, pushing him back against the cage.

Kuling pulls guard effortlessly.
Bartlett cracks Kuling with a solid left hand.
Kuling is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Kuling wants to control the position but Bartlett says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Bartlett is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Kuling is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Aaron Bartlett!
