PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniele Vantaggiato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Cloverleaf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cloverleaf lands a big shot that drops Vantaggiato! Can he finish him?

It looks like Daniele Vantaggiato has been cut.

Cloverleaf stands up from Vantaggiato's guard - Cloverleaf perhaps looking for a knockout.
Vantaggiato moves in looking to clinch but Cloverleaf pushes him off.

and Vantaggiato counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cloverleaf looks like he's trying to stand up.
Vantaggiato throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Cloverleaf pushes Vantaggiato off looking to stand but Vantaggiato dives back in and keeps control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Cloverleaf tries to hold on but Vantaggiato pushes him away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Cloverleaf tries to reverse the position but Vantaggiato maintains control.

Cloverleaf is squirming around, avoiding Vantaggiato's attempts to control the action.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Cloverleaf wants to control but Vantaggiato is having none of it.
Vantaggiato cracks Cloverleaf with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Cloverleaf is trying to stand.

A close round but Ken Cloverleaf will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Vantaggiato looks to land a right hand but Cloverleaf moved out of range.
Cloverleaf throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Vantaggiato colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Cloverleaf as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Vantaggiato is left battered and dazed whilst Cloverleaf and his camp cheer!
