The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dumont throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Johnny Deluxe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dumont tries to clinch there but Deluxe circles away.
Deluxe misses with a body shot
and Dumont counters with a crisp one two that drops Deluxe! Dumont thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Deluxe to his feet! Deluxe is in big trouble!
Deluxe is rocked!
Dumont lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Deluxe crumples to the floor! Dumont milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

A relieved looking Francois Dumont thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
