The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dennis is trying hard to land a takedown here. Berg sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Dennis bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Dennis is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Berg has escaped the position, nice work there.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dennis is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Berg knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Dennis swings around for an armbar but Berg sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Dennis 's guard.

Berg stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Dennis has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Berg manages to get his head free but now Dennis has transitioned to an armbar! Berg grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Dennis ! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
