The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beton gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Riku counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Beton dives in for a single leg takedown but Riku sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Riku steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Beton shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Riku sprawls well. Riku wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Beton gets slowly back to his feet.

Beton changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Riku tries to avoid it but Beton manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Riku to the ground. Riku escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Riku pounces like a tiger and cracks Beton with a vicious hook! Beton is down but not out! Riku follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Lazuran Riku decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
