Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Iancu Calmuschi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Kingston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Calmuschi might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to "The Night" by Disturbed. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kingston connects with a nice looking jab.
Kingston misses with a double jab
and Calmuschi counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Calmuschi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

We've been told by Calmuschi's head coaches at Den of Tears (22 coaches) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Daniel Kingston seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Calmuschi stuns Kingston with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Calmuschi chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Calmuschi throws a nice inside leg kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kingston looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kingston tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Calmuschi counters with a left and a right that stings Kingston.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Calmuschi slaps away a takedown attempt from Kingston, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Calmuschi misses the jab.
Calmuschi is looking to slow Kingston down with leg kicks.
Kingston gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kingston crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Calmuschi - the referee stops the clock and Kingston gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Calmuschi. Kingston manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Kingston throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Calmuschi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Kingston paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Calmuschi scores with a kick to the midsection.
Calmuschi keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kingston.
Kingston lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Calmuschi circles away quickly and effectively.
Calmuschi lands a nice hook to Kingston's body. Kingston takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Calmuschi is looking to slow Kingston down with leg kicks.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kingston feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Calmuschis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Calmuschi uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kingston.

and Calmuschi counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Kingston is still on wobbly legs! Can Calmuschi finish him?
Kingston fails with the takedown
and Calmuschi counters with a huge left! Kingston is in big trouble! He's backing up but Calmuschi isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Kingston from any more damage. A dominating finish by Calmuschi!
