Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Craig Stephens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Benjamin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stephens comes to the cage accompanied by Renegade by (hed)PE. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Craig Stephens!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brock Benjamin!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Topper Green and Ben Watson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stephens misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Benjamin.
Stephens swings for the body but Benjamin moves out of range.

Benjamin closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Stephens is trying to stand up here but Benjamin is controlling him well.
Stephens is trying to escape back to his feet but Benjamin uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Stephens is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Zen Balance Monastery that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Stephens drops Benjamin with a huge uppercut! Benjamin drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Stephens is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
