Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mad Max (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and anaho anaho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
anaho fails to land the takedown.

and anaho counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by anaho.

anaho must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
anaho trying to control but Max is working from the bottom.
anaho would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

anaho drops back looking for a leg! Max is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Max manages to kick anaho off! anaho jumps back into Max's guard.
anaho stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Max swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Max has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but anaho can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

anaho stays in close to Max's body and controls the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Max escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. anaho gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Max is trying to keep anaho in close.
anaho trying to control the position from guard on top but Max is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

anaho looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

anaho is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Max is trying to maintain the position but anaho is very close to passing his half guard.
anaho is looking to advance position but Max won't allow it.

Max wants to sweep but anaho has passed to side control!

anaho is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Max is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

anaho is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Max knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Max wants to control but anaho postures up.
anaho is chipping away with strikes.

anaho is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Max sees it coming and defends easily.
anaho wants to pass to mount but Max is defending the position.
