The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Messie bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Pariyar lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Messie circles away quickly and effectively.
Pariyar misses with a straight left.
Pariyar takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Pariyar misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Messie.
Pariyar has a takedown stuffed.
Messie swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

It looks like Krishna Pariyar has been cut.
Pariyar throws a big shot that misses.

Messie uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Pariyar has been working on his boxing with his coaches at mickeyharts the greatest in the buildup to the fight.

Messie has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Messie there as he acknowledges the shot.
Messie connects with a good right hand that stumbles Pariyar. Pariyar circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Pariyar takes a jab right on the kisser.

Messie throws a one two combo.
Pariyar moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Pariyar takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Messie has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Messie gets in close and instigates a clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Messie bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Pariyar's head.

Oh Pariyar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Messie lands a body shot in the clinch.
Pariyar seems to have got his legs back now.
Messie lands a shot to the body.
Pariyar's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Messie digs a right hand into Pariyar's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Pariyar's gas tank.

Messie has Pariyar up against the cage in a clinch.
Messie stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Messie pushes Pariyar back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Krishna Pariyar's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Messie drops Pariyar onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Pariyar is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Jeez, Krishna Pariyar's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Krishna Pariyar's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
