PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bajau Jabrik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jabrik has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moore dives in and scores a takedown into Jabrik's guard.
Jabrik wants to get back to his feet but Moore passes into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Jabrik looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Jabrik has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
Moore slips a nice elbow through Jabrik's hands, connecting with Jabrik's forehead.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jabrik can do anything to dispel that myth.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Moore lands a nice short elbow.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Jabrik is in trouble now - Moore has advanced to mount!

Moore is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Jabrik is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Jabrik flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Moore anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Jabrik and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Moore slips an arm under Jabrik chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Moore has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Moore is squeezing on Jabrik like an anaconda would it's prey. Jabrik fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
