Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jimmie Rivera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adel Sadeq (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Jimmie Rivera has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Reed Andrews and Joseph Jones.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivera throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sadeq.

Rivera fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sadeq, pushing him back against the cage.

Sadeq has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Rivera regains guard immediately.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Sadeq passes Rivera's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Sadeq is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Rivera has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sadeq is working away from the top position though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rivera wants to improve his position but Sadeq is controlling well.
Rivera might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

It looks like Sadeq might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Rivera tries to roll over but Sadeq keeps him under control.

Sadeq decides to stand up.
Rivera throws a low kick but it's checked well by Sadeq.
Good leg kick by Rivera there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Nice takedown defense from Rivera. No joy for Sadeq on that attempt.
Rivera throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Rivera shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Sadeq wants to stand back up but Rivera manages to pass into side control.

You can see the frustration on Sadeq's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Sadeq throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Rivera tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sadeq manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Rivera keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Sadeq tries to sprawl but Rivera drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Sadeq pushes Rivera off and gets back to his feet.

Rivera is looking to clinch.

Rivera is breathing heavily.

Sadeq has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Rivera should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Sadeq has tightened it up now! Rivera should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
