Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pit Mies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francois Permitis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mies comes to the cage accompanied by Condemned 84 - Face the agression. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Permitis shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Permitis was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Permitis wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mies, who protects the arm well.
Mies is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Permitis is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Permitis pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Mies wants to hold on but Permitis pushes him away.
Mies is breathing heavily.
Mies is bucking up trying to escape but Permitis cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
