Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Anthony Taglia and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barber fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Barber tries to clinch
and Hacking counters with a series of strikes. Barber will be more careful next time no doubt.
Hacking feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Barber is looking for a triangle here but Hacking uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Barber throws a few strikes from the bottom but Hacking takes advantage and mounts!

Barber could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Hacking takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Hacking takes Barber's back, avoiding a couple of desperation strikes from the bottom.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Barber is trying to break free.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hacking lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.
Hacking scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Barber is looking for a way out.

Hacking keeps control of the position easily here as Barber tries to buck him off.
