Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roger Pott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Avila Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pott comes to the cage accompanied by I Luv It. Alvarez has chosen Barbarian by The Darkness as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Roger Pott had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pott keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Pott looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Pott misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Alvarez is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pott is just riding it out for now. Alvarez eventually gives up the hold.

Pott knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Alvarez on the ground.

Alvarez is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Pott to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Pott shrugs it off.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Alvarez. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
