The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rubble throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rubble throws a body kick that misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rubble looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rubble misses with a series of wild punches.
Plebeev swats away the attempt to clinch by Rubble.
Rubble is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Plebeev has Rubble up against the cage in a clinch.
Come on Plebeev - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rubble is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Rubble wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Plebeev pushes Rubble back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Rubble has had enough of the clinch but Plebeev keeps him there for the moment.

Plebeev gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Rubble regains guard.
Rubble knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Plebeev on the ground.
Plebeev postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Plebeev has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Plebeev has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Rubble is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Plebeev yanks on the arm and Rubble is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Plebeev.
