A momentary lapse in concentration from Abrams enables Bixby to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Abrams manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

It seemed like Bixby was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Abrams lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Bixby is trying to maintain a safe position but Abrams gets an underhook and turns Bixby into the cage.

Bixby shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bixby showed some decent athleticism there.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Abrams tries to get to full guard but Bixby has control of the leg.
Bixby looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Abrams with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Buzz Bixby showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Bixby connects with a combination that backs up Abrams into the cage. Bixby lands a flurry of punches that gets past Abrams's guard. Abrams is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Bixby bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Buzz Bixby!
After winning the bout, Buzz Bixby thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
