Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Itachi Uchiha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Carvalho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uchiha feints and as Carvalho raises his hands in defense, Uchiha changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Uchiha trying to control but Carvalho is working from the bottom.
Uchiha landing with the ground and pound.
Carvalho keeping moving, preventing Uchiha from controlling successfully.
Uchiha throws a big right hand that misses.
Carvalho wants to get back to his feet but Uchiha is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Uchiha drops back looking for a leg! Carvalho is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Carvalho manages to kick Uchiha off! Uchiha jumps back into Carvalho's guard.
Carvalho is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Uchiha controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Uchiha wants to pass the guard but Carvalho is keeping the position.
Uchiha advances position into side control!
Uchiha tries to advance to mount but can't.
Carvalho tries to buck Uchiha off but Uchiha is having none of it.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Uchiha.
Carvalho takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Itachi Uchiha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Uchiha tries to clinch up but Carvalho circles away and keeps his distance.
Uchiha throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Carvalho's waist but Carvalho gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Uchiha off to one side.
Uchiha shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Carvalho as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Itachi Uchiha. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Uchiha fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Carvalho sprawls well initially but Uchiha persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Carvalho has his foot on Uchiha's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Uchiha works his way back into a safe position though.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Carvalho is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Carvalho is looking to advance position but Uchiha won't allow it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Carvalho seems to be looking for submissions.
Carvalho prevents Uchiha from improving his position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Uchiha misses with a head kick.
Uchiha fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Carvalho lands a head kick. Uchiha smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

That was a close round but I would say that Itachi Uchiha will probably get the nod.
That's time! Uchiha's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
An inside leg kick lands from Carvalho.
Carvalho throws a right hand that Uchiha ducks under and follows up with a left that Uchiha also avoids with ease.
Uchiha shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Uchiha shoots for a double leg takedown but Carvalho sprawls well. He's pushed Uchiha's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Uchiha displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Carvalho throws out the jab.

Uchiha closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

and Uchiha counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Carvalho's guard now.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Carvalho looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Carvalho escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Uchiha gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Uchiha wants to control from the top but Carvalho keeps moving.

Carvalho is looking to regain half guard here but Uchiha keeps moving and retains side control.
Uchiha is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Carvalho is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Uchiha wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Carvalho, who protects the arm well.

Carvalho manages to get back to half guard.
Uchiha trying to control the action but Carvalho is working from the bottom.

Uchiha is trying to work for a kimura but Carvalho is defending well.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Carvalho lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Uchiha backs up against the cage.
Uchiha slips a straight right by Carvalho.

No luck for Uchiha with that takedown attempt.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Uchiha takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

That was a close second round but I would say that Itachi Uchiha will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Carvalho lands a nice looking kick to the body. Uchiha takes a step back to recover.

Uchiha feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Carvalho manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Uchiha manages to get himself to full guard.

Uchiha looking to hit a scissor sweep but Carvalho is one step ahead there.
Carvalho is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Uchiha is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Uchiha has escaped and now he's on top!
Carvalho is looking for a triangle here but Uchiha uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Uchiha tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Uchiha has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Carvalho is trying to improve his position.

Uchiha wants to lay and pray for a moment but Carvalho keeps working.
Uchiha in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

Uchiha connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Carvalho some visible discomfort.
Carvalho is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Uchiha is controlling him well.
Carvalho is looking for a sweep.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Uchiha shoots for a double leg takedown but Carvalho sprawls well. He's pushed Uchiha's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Itachi Uchiha.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Uchiha, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
