The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Zimmer or perhaps it was just good defense by Williams, which made it look bad.
Williams shoots in for a double leg but Zimmer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Williams's coach down at 5 Star Spar Bazaar OFC was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Williams's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Zimmer drops down looking for an ankle pick but Williams pulls his leg out and moves away.
Williams shoots in and drives through. Zimmer sprawls well.
Zimmer defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Williams.
Hans Zimmer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Deshaun Williams.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Williams pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Williams drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Williams is stalling in the full guard.
Zimmer wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Williams manages to pass to side control.

Williams maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Zimmer could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Williams has cracked it and Zimmer is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Williams!
