Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kona Bud!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ignat Berkutov!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bud is looking to slow Berkutov down with leg kicks.
Bud scores with a shot to the body.
Bud looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Berkutov moves in looking to clinch but Bud pushes him off.

Berkutov with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Bud lands a nice looking kick to the body. Berkutov takes a step back to recover.
Berkutov fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Berkutov walks into a stiff left hand from Bud.
Berkutov darts in looking for a takedown but Bud gets double underhooks and turns Berkutov into the cage.
Bud scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Berkutov crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Bud - the referee stops the clock and Berkutov gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Bud. Berkutov manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Berkutov tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Bud counters with a nice uppercut.
Bud connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Berkutov momentarily.
Berkutov is looking to clinch but Bud is avoiding it.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Bud enables Berkutov to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bud manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Bud is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bud looking to hit a scissor sweep but Berkutov is one step ahead there.
Berkutov is looking to work some ground and pound but Bud has wrist control.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Berkutov stands up over Bud, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Kona Bud seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Bud counters with a nice uppercut.
Kona Bud has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ignat Berkutov.
Berkutov wants to clinch
and Bud counters with a low kick, right behind Berkutov 's knee.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Berkutov takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Kona Bud is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bud connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Both fighters circling a little - Bud finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Berkutov looks winded!
A solid leg kick lands there for Bud.
Bud fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Berkutov on the side of the head.
Bud smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Nice shot lands for Bud.
Bud feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Berkutov's calf.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bud moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Bud drops Berkutov with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Berkutov looks back up at him and smiles so Bud waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Berkutov is rocked!
It looks like Ignat Berkutov has been cut.
Bud circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Berkutov to the canvas! Berkutov doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Bud keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kona Bud!
