The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Alexander uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bane.
Bane lands a really nice looking cross but Alexander seems unphased.

That was a close round but I would say that Rasheed Alexander will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Alexander throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bane sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bane swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Alexander.

Alexander is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Bane throws out a counter right but Alexander avoids it with no problem.
Alexander takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Alexander seems to have got his legs back now.
Bane throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Alexander stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Alexander looks up at the clock. Bad move! Bane lands a right hand from hell, dropping Alexander. Bane pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
