Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gerbert Bryant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bubba Gumption (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bryant comes into the arena with I just wanna blaring out of the sound system. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gumption misses with a straight left.
Bryant misses with a wild body shot.
Gumption tries a head kick but it misses.
Gumption closes the distance but Bryant moves to the side
and Bryant counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Bryant prevents Gumption from standing back up.
Gumption told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

We've been hearing good reports from Bryant's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Gumption has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Bryant off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Gumption uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bryant has time to react.

Bryant feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Bryant lands with a hook. Gumption tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Bryant cracks Gumption with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

and Gumption takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bryant walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Bubba Gumption is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Gumption gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Bryant scores with a shot to the side of Gumption's head.

Bryant lands a big left hand right to the temple and Gumption goes down!

Gumption is rocked!
Bryant scores with a big shot! Gumption's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Gumption! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
