Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Long Wyatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keith Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Long Wyatt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Keith Stone!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stone clinches up with Wyatt and pushes him back against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Wyatt - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Stone drags the fight down to the ground.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wyatt accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Stone wants to sweep but no luck.
Stone is looking to sweep but instead, Wyatt has passed into half guard.
Wyatt seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Stone darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Wyatt jumps guard but Stone stands there with Wyatt around his waist. Wyatt gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Long Wyatt. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Stone gets control of Wyatt's arms and successfully pulls guard. Stone will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Stone looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wyatt is one step ahead there.

Stone working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wyatt doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wyatt manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Stone shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Wyatt is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Wyatt stands up and beckons Stone to join him on the feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Stone misses with a telegraphed body shot

and Wyatt counters with a shoot takedown. Stone fights it but they end up in guard.
Stone looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wyatt is one step ahead there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wyatt wants to get back to his feet but Stone is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Long Wyatt overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Wyatt lands a couple of decent looking body shots there.
Wyatt throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Stone is trying to trip Wyatt. He has hold of a leg but Wyatt is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Stone persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Stone with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Stone stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wyatt swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Wyatt kicks Stone off and gets to his feet.

Stone shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Wyatt manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Wyatt has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Stone is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Keith Stone showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Stone closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Stone lands in his opponent's guard.

Wyatt wriggles free and stands up.

Wyatt changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Wyatt avoids the elbow strike from Stone, against the cage.

Wyatt gets control of Stone's arms and successfully pulls guard. Wyatt will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Wyatt wants to sweep here but Stone controlling him for the moment.
Stone postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
