The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyson closes the distance looking to clinch

so Sookael counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Sookael chips away with some ground and pound.
Sookael seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Sookael is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Sookael postures up in Tyson's guard and throws a big left but Tyson blocks it.
Sookael is in close to Tyson's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Sookael postures up and lands a big shot to Tyson's brow.
Tyson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Sookael landing with the ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tyson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sookael defends well.
Tyson throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Sookael passes Tyson's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Sookael takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Sookael content to control rather than advance.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Sookael lands a nice short elbow.

Sookael working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Sookael looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Sookael lands a strong strike to the head of Tyson. That's dazed him! Sookael looking to finish here. Tyson is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Sookael lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

In his post fight interview, Cark Sookael started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
