Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between West Drum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Gain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gain is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Land down unda. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Chad Campbell and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gain fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Drum avoids it really well and circles away.
Gain shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Drum but Drum pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Drum throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Gain closes the distance and clinches.

Gain tightens his grip and picks Drum up, before dumping him to the ground. Drum manages to land in guard.

Gain is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Drum controlling the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gain won't allow Drum to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gain wants to control from the top but Drum keeps moving.
Drum keeping full guard, as Gain tries to pass.

Gain pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Drum is keeping the position for now.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Gain closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Drum connects with a body shot.
Drum dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Gain swinging wildly here.
Gain fails with a takedown attempt.
West Drum has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruce Gain.
Drum throws a shot to the body.
Drum throws a good cross that connects.
Gain is trying hard to land a takedown here. Drum sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Gain throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Drum was covering up waiting for the punch and Gain finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Drum controls Gain momentarily but Gain frees himself.
Gain stands and throws Drum's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Drum is not content to let Gain control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Gain prevents Drum from escaping the position.
Drum can't do much from the bottom here.

Gain has an Americana. Drum didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Gain is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Gain hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
