Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dan Kolov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Asker Allakaev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kolov might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Metallica - Enter Sandman. Dan Kolov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Kolov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Asker Allakaev!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, David Schapiro and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kolov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Allakaev looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Allakaev tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Kolov wants to lay and pray for a moment but Allakaev keeps working.

Kolov tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kolov has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Kolov wants to control but Allakaev is keeping him busy.

Kolov is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Allakaev knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Allakaev tries to bench press Kolov off him but Kolov keeps the position.
Allakaev is still trying to improve position.

Kolov is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Allakaev is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kolov wants to lay and pray for a moment but Allakaev keeps working.

Kolov wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Allakaev, who protects the arm well.

Allakaev is not content to let Kolov control the position.
Allakaev is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Allakaev manages to work his way to half guard, despite Kolov's best efforts.

Allakaev is defending against the submission attempts here by Kolov.
Allakaev slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Allakaev is looking for a triangle but Kolov pushes his legs off easily.
Kolov passes Allakaev's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Kolov is looking for a kimura here.
Allakaev is not content to let Kolov control the position.
Kolov wants to pass to mount but Allakaev is defending the position.
Kolov frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Kolov working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kolov is working for a guillotine from mount but Allakaev frees his head quite easily.
Kolov looking to control but Allakaev is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Allakaev is trying to escape the mount.

Allakaev is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Kolov is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Allakaev is in real trouble.

Kolov has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Allakaev is defending well but eventually Kolov manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Allakaev has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
