The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foster fails with the takedown
and DeMarinni counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Foster darts in looking for a takedown but DeMarinni gets double underhooks and turns Foster into the cage.
Foster dives in for a single leg takedown but DeMarinni sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aidan Foster. That's going to take a lot out of him.
DeMarinni scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Foster doesn't seem bothered though.
Foster is breathing heavily.
Foster with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling DeMarinni to score with a decent uppercut.

DeMarinni drops Foster with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Foster looks back up at him and smiles so DeMarinni waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

BAM! DeMarinni delivers a spinning backfist that drops Foster like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
