Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Graig Parsons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brodie Milne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Graig Parsons!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brodie Milne!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Darius Henderson and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Milne closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Parsons to the mat! Parsons manages to get full guard.
Parsons keeping moving, preventing Milne from controlling successfully.
Parsons preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Parsons not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Milne not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Parsons wants to stand but Milne is controlling the position.
Milne wants to control from the top but Parsons keeps moving.
Milne is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

You can see the frustration on Parsons's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Parsons wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Milne cracks Parsons with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Milne is looking to take a break and control but Parsons is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Parsons is looking to regain half guard here but Milne keeps moving and retains side control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Milne shoots in and bounces Parsons off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Milne must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Parsons lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Milne wants to sweep here but Parsons controlling him for the moment.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Parsons could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Parsons will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Milne looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Parsons with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Parsons is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Milne has just dragged him back down to the mat.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Parsons bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Milne's guard.

Milne is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Well Milne has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
