Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Akram Nasser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Willy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nasser has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nasser clinches.
Willy changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Nasser fights it off and pushes away nicely.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Willy swings wildly with an uppercut but Nasser uses good head movement to avoid it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Willy has Nasser pressed against the cage, preventing Nasser from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Akram Nasser has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Willy.
Willy keeps control of Nasser as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Willy tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Nasser just stands there and leans against the cage.

Nasser shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Willy pinned against the cage. Willy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Willy looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Nasser tries to sprawl but Willy drives through with a takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Willy is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nasser is breathing heavily.
Nasser pushes Willy off looking to stand but Willy dives back in and keeps control.
Willy drops an elbow to the side of Nasser's head.
Willy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Nasser is trying to stand back up but Willy is controlling him
Willy wants to control but Nasser is keeping him busy.
Willy has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Nasser defend it? Willy steps over the head and cranks it - Nasser is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Willy!
