Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brett Le (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dodger Diggerson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dodger Diggerson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brett Le!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dodger Diggerson!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Diggerson rushes Le and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Diggerson is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Diggerson lands a left hand that snaps the head of Le backwards.


It looks like Brett Le has been cut.

Le ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Le no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Le not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Diggerson throws a big right hand that misses.
Diggerson wants to control from the top but Le keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Le being controlled here, momentarily.
Diggerson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Le's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Diggerson is looking to take a break and control but Le is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Diggerson prevents Le from standing back up.
Le wants to improve his position but Diggerson is controlling well.
Le tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Diggerson manages to move to mount!
Diggerson controlling the position easily from mount.
Diggerson looking to ground and pound but Le is blocking nicely.
Poor strikes thrown by Diggerson there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Diggerson throwing strikes here but Le is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Diggerson prevents Le from getting the reversal.
Le is working hard here to advance position.
Diggerson wants to control the pace but Le is squirming around nicely.
Diggerson throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Le has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Diggerson's lack of action.

Le is looking for a sweep. Diggerson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Diggerson is trying to control. Le wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Diggerson is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Le has managed to free his arm - good work.
Le is looking to control Diggerson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Le avoid being mounted?
Le keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Le wants to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Le looks like he's trying to stand up.
Le is trying to control but can't.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Diggerson throws a sloppy head kick and Le moves out of range easily.
Le feinted there with a counter leg kick.

Diggerson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Diggerson tries to pull guard but Le forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Diggerson manages to break the clinch.

Le tries to keep at a distance but Diggerson has taken the fight into the clinch.

Diggerson has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Le clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Le wants to escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dodger Diggerson dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Brett Le's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Diggerson misses with a head kick.
Diggerson with a poor takedown
enabling Le to counter with a crisp jab.

Diggerson darts in and clinches Le up against the cage.

Diggerson pulls guard effortlessly.
Le content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Le stands up over Diggerson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Le chips away with some ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Diggerson has his hands on Le's head, controlling the position.
Le passes into half guard under a barage of strikes.
Diggerson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Le is working away from the top position though.
Le drops an elbow to the side of Diggerson's head.
Le has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Diggerson is trying to get back to full guard.
Le working over Diggerson with some ground and pound. Diggerson looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Diggerson has hold of Le's hands but Le slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Diggerson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Le is working away from the top position though.
Diggerson is looking to escape.
Le is thwarting Diggerson's attempts to control the position.

Le looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Diggerson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Le scores with a couple of nice shots.

Diggerson is looking to control Le's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Diggerson avoid being mounted?
Diggerson tries to kick Le off but Le keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Diggerson wants to improve his position but Le is controlling well.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Diggerson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Le, pushing him back against the cage.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Le just leaning against Diggerson, taking a breather.
Diggerson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Le just stands there and leans against the cage.
Diggerson wants to take the fight to the mat but Le manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Brett Le has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dodger Diggerson.

Diggerson breaks from the clinch.

Diggerson has managed to clinch.

Le gets control of Diggerson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Le will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Le has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Le is on top in guard.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Le makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Le really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Diggerson throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!


Le doesn't manage to clinch there - Diggerson circles away.
Diggerson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Le defends it nicely.

Le has Diggerson up against the cage in a clinch.

Diggerson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Diggerson throws a head kick but Le moves out of range.
Diggerson swats away the attempt to clinch by Le.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Le.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Le tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Diggerson is able to avoid easily.
Diggerson tries to counter with a clinch but Le shakes him off and moves away.
Diggerson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Le defends well and Diggerson ends up having to push Le into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Le fires out a quick counter leg kick but Diggerson just manages to avoid it.
Le tries to clinch but Diggerson moves out of range.
Diggerson dives in and grabs Le's left leg, looking for a takedown. Le pushes down on Diggerson's head and hops out.
Brett Le has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dodger Diggerson.
Diggerson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Le as he jumps to the side.
Diggerson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Diggerson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Diggerson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Le avoids it really well and circles away.

Le moves into the clinch.

Le jumps into guard, dragging Diggerson to the mat.
Diggerson postures up.
Diggerson wants to stand but Le is controlling his posture from full guard.
Le throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Le is on top in guard.

Le scoring with some ground and pound.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Le postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Le will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Le working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Diggerson's head.
Le stands up over Diggerson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Le working some strikes from top position.
Le lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Le postures up and lands a big shot to Diggerson's brow.
Le is working Diggerson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Le cracks Diggerson with a solid left hand.
Le content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Diggerson is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Brett Le overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Le postures up.
Le cracks Diggerson with a solid left hand.
Diggerson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Le chips away with some ground and pound.

Diggerson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Le defends it easily.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Le is in close to Diggerson's body, working some short punches and elbows.

And that's the end of the fight!
Brett Le showed his dominance in that final round.
