The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Geese lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hardy's sensitive parts.
No joy there for Geese, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

It appears Hardy was looking to counter with a kick there.

Geese shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hardy is trying to defend but Geese finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Hardy kicks Geese off and gets back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Hardy drops back, looking for a kneebar! Geese looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Geese looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Geese!

Geese swings around for an armbar but Hardy sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Geese's guard.

Hardy stands up over Geese, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close second round but I would say that Herman Hardy will probably get the nod.
