Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ruiz Edinhio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yo Yo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yo Yo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yo stuffs the takedown attempt from Edinhio. Edinhio gets slowly back to his feet.

Yo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Edinhio was covering up waiting for the punch and Yo finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yo slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Edinhio is trying to hold Yo in close to prevent damage but Yo has managed to pass into half guard.
Yo is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Edinhio is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Yo's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Yo's back!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Yo felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Edinhio is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Yo has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Edinhio has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Yo taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Edinhio doesn't care though - he's delighted!
