Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Krizz Kaliko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ed Valquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaliko comes to the cage accompanied by Anxiety. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Valquez with that takedown attempt.
Valquez closes the distance and clinches up with Kaliko, looking for a takedown. Valquez pushes Kaliko against the cage but Kaliko circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Kaliko gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Kaliko wants to sweep here but Valquez controlling him for the moment.
Kaliko not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Valquez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kaliko swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Valquez drops back looking for a leg! Kaliko is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kaliko manages to kick Valquez off! Valquez jumps back into Kaliko's guard.
Kaliko bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Valquez's guard.

Valquez has his foot on Kaliko's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kaliko works his way back into a safe position though.
