Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lyoto Parks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hansen has chosen AC/DC - Big Gun as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansen looks to throw the jab but Parks is out of range.
A slow jab from Parks misses its intended target.

Hansen tries to keep at a distance but Parks has taken the fight into the clinch.
Hansen blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Parks digs a right hand underneath Hansen's ribcage. Hansen let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Parks fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Parks throws a punch but it's blocked by Hansen.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Hansen.
Parks swings wildly with an uppercut but Hansen uses good head movement to avoid it.

Hansen is trying to trip Parks. He has hold of a leg but Parks is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Hansen persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Parks preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Hansen is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Parks seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Parks looking for a sweep. Not yet Parks, not yet.
Parks is pulling down on Hansen's head. It's preventing any offense from Hansen, at least for the moment.
Hansen seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hansen defending well as Parks loads up on a big left hand.
Hansen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Parks moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hansen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

That kick from Hansen tenderised Parks's leg. Parks is trying to keep his angry face on.

Parks throws a body shot but no joy.

Parks lands with a right hand.
Parks fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Hansen misses with a two punch combination.

and Parks cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
No joy there for Hansen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Hansen motions for Parks to come forward. Hansen throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Hansen looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Hansen is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Parks steps in with a hook that catches Hansen right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Parks follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Hansen looks absolutely devastated.

After winning the bout, Lyoto Parks thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
