The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pick Me lands a head kick!
Pick Me tries to bum rush Faggio with a series of wild strikes but Faggio uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pick Me comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Pick Me scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Pick Me throws a head kick that misses.
Faggio moves forwards but Pick Me connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Faggio blocks a low kick nicely.
Pick Me paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Faggio goes for a double leg but Pick Me avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Pick Me continues to drive forward.
Pick Me dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Pick Me drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Pick Me tries to stand but Faggio is controlling his head.
Pick Me wants to control but Faggio is keeping him busy.
Faggio is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Pick Me off and has taken his back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pick Me can't escape the position.
Pick Me trying to control but not successfully.
Faggio punishes Pick Me with strikes from the back mount.
Pick Me rolls, trying to escape but Faggio keeps control of the position.
Faggio scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
Pick Me tries to escape but Faggio has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Pick Me is trying to get back to his feet but Faggio has full control of the position and if anything, Pick Me has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Faggio looking to soften up his opponent with punches.
Pick Me is breathing heavily.
Faggio keeps control of the position easily here as Pick Me tries to buck him off.
Can Pick Me hold on?! Faggio is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.

Faggio is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Faggio has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Faggio lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.

Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Faggio.
Faggio lands a good shot there. Pick Me covers up! Faggio smells blood and goes for the finish - the referee warns Pick Me to improve his position but he's not intelligently defending himself and the referee has no choice but to step in and end the fight! Faggio jumps to his feet and celebrates the important win with his cornermen!
