Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Joyner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Asko Asinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Asinen closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Asinen is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Joyner has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Asinen has control of Joyner's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Joyner regains control of the situation pretty easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Joyner is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Asinen gets his way!

Asinen is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Joyner knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Joyner for a finish.

Asko Asinen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!



Asinen closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Asinen lands in his opponent's guard.

Asinen has gone for a leg lock! Joyner slips out almost immediately though and dives into Asinen's guard.

Asinen has instead reached around Joyner's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Asinen arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
