The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Temple avoids the head kick by Jacobs.
Temple tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jacobs looks for a takedown but Temple sprawls well.
Jacobs misses with a body shot.
Temple lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jacobs backs up against the cage.

Temple clinches up with Jacobs and pushes him back against the cage.

Temple manages to break the clinch.
Jacobs sizes up Temple with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Temple displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Steven Jacobs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jacobs has a takedown stuffed.
Jacobs lands a two punch combo.

It looks like Zayrion Temple has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jacobs wants to clinch up but Temple keeps it at a distance.
Temple stuffs the takedown.

Jacobs looks to land a left hand but Temple moved out of range nicely.
Jacobs shoots in but Temple avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Both fighters circling a little - Temple finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Jacobs is breathing heavily.

Jacobs gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Jacobs has momentary wrist control but Temple slips an elbow through the middle.
Temple stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jacobs swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jacobs keeping moving, preventing Temple from controlling successfully.
Jacobs trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

Temple gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Temple fails with an attempt to clinch.

Temple takes the fight into the clinch.
Jacobs prevents a takedown attempt there.

Temple jumps guard.

Jacobs is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Temple has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Jacobs is looking to defend but Temple has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Jacobs! Temple pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Jacobs taps out and this one is all over!
