Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joao Pequeno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lemmy Kravitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lemmy Kravitz is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pequeno misses with an uppercut.
Pequeno misses with a wild combination.
Nice jab there from Pequeno.
Kravitz tries to clinch up.
Pequeno throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kravitz shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kravitz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kravitz attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Joao Pequeno seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kravitz fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Pequeno shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kravitz's guard.
Pequeno tries to stand but Kravitz is controlling from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kravitz has his foot on Pequeno's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pequeno works his way back into a safe position though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Pequeno makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Nice uppercut lands for Pequeno. That snapped Kravitz's head back.
Pequeno fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kravitz looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Pequeno shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kravitz pinned against the cage. Kravitz gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kravitz takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Pequeno lands a two punch combo.
Pequeno ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Kravitz has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kravitz there as he acknowledges the shot.

Kravitz is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nice straight punches there by Pequeno. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Pequeno.
Kravitz is still on wobbly legs! Can Pequeno finish him?
Pequeno closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Kravitz! Pequeno dives in looking to finish! Kravitz is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
